eX-Mission
Solution Suite provides a complete low cost IT communication
infrastructure solution to deliver mission critical data such
as cycle times, machine downtime, supply chain, product genealogy
and traceability information from the shop floor directly
to the enterprise system, while providing a path to preserve
the asset value of existing
non-CAMX enabled equipment in newly implemented CAMX production
lines.
The
IPC-2501 CAMX Standard
The IPC-2501 Standard has been introduced
to increase overall plant productivity by introducing a standard,
efficient data messaging framework for shop floor to enterprise
communication. The IPC-2501 standard for Web-Based XML Data
Exchange (25xx
matrix) specifies the governing semantics and
an XML based syntax for shop floor communication between electronic
assembly equipment and associated software applications -
the 'Plug & Play' factory.
